LADIES’ GUILD
COROMANDEL PRESBYTERIANS
ANNUAL MEETING HELD
The annual meeting of the Coromandel Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild was held on Wednesday, July 1. The president, Mrs Evans, opened the meeting with the Lord’s Prayer and a chapter of Ezekiel was read by Mrs McKee.
There • were present: Mesdames Evans, McKee, Jamieson, Edwards, James 'Gamble and a visitor, Mrs Turner.
Election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs * McKee; secretary, Mrs James Gamble reelected.
It was resolved that the meeting day be altered from the first Wednesday in the month to the first Thursday each month.
The president expressed pleasure in welcoming Mrs Turner, who Was duly made a member of the guild.
It was decided to hold a Paddy’s Market in the early part of 'December.
The meeting closed with the singing of the hymn, ‘.‘lvory Palaces.”
Aftennoon tea was servfed by' the hostess for the afternoon, Mrs Edwards.
