Probate Granted On the application of the solicitor to the Public Trust Office, the'Supreme Court, on June 26, granted, probate of the will of Robert Fawcett Cribb, late of Puriri, farmer, to the Public Trustee. The Missing Woman No trace has. yet been found of the missing woman,, Mrs A. E. Haylock, who has been missing from her home at Puru since June 21. Residents, of the district are still - continuing the search and the Thames police are making further inquiries. Sympathy Expressed At the monthly ; meeting of the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee the Mayor, Mr Edwin expressed sympathy with Mrs T. ’ Short, who is an inmate of the Thames Hospital,' in her illness and expressed the hope for a speedy recovery. The - secretary, Mr R. S. Nicol, was instructed to convey the meeting’s feelings’ to Mrs Short, who is a member of the committee. Paeroa Patriotic Committee The monthly meeting of the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee’ was held in the Coronation Chambers, Paeroa, on Monday night, the Mayor, Mr Edwin Edwards, presiding. Others present were Mes•dames E. -Edwards, R. Buckrell, G' Bennett, H. Wylde, Messrs A. E;’ Day, D. Prime, C. A. Blackwood T A. Barret, R. L. Parley, G. Knappi A. A. Jenkinson, D. G. McMillan, Major T. R. Moore and the secretary, Mr R. S. Nicol. , ' Power Board Meeting '■ The monthly meeting of the Thames ‘Valley Electric PoweBoard was held, in Te Aroha oA Tuesday, the chairman, Mr J ..'Price' presiding. Others present - were Messrs W. C. Kennedy, H. R. Bush, P. R. Hawke, J. F. Mayne, J. Pohlen T. A. Barrett, C. C. Webb, H. M*. Corbett, the manager, Mr R. Sprague and the chief engineer. Mr N. G. McLeod. Apologies for absence w ere received from Messrs H. L. Boughton, W.-S. Goosman and J. McCormack.
