MORE WANTED
WASTE PAPER COLLECTIONS APPEAL TO ALL PAEROA FIRMS It wa? reported at the monthly meeting of the iPaeroa District Patriotic iCommittee that the response to the appeal for waste paper had not been as good as .it might have (been, a number of firms not co-operating. ■. Members pointed out that some of the firms lacked means to convey the waste paper to either of the depots,the Paeroa Borough Council office* or the Ohinemuri County Council office. It was decided ■ to arrange for a truck to collect waste paper where afirm had sufficient a make a load and Jacked a vehicle. Another appeal was mad.fi.Jby the Mayor, Mr Edwin Edwards, to every firm and household to save all the paper possible and to leave same at one of the depots as soon as possible.
