DEMAND VERY KEEN

PIGS AT MORRINS VILLE SALE

COMPETITION FOR BONERS

The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company Limited, report that at their weekly Morrinsville stock sale on Friday a very large yarding of fat and store sheep including many pens of fat lambs came forward. Competition was keen throughout and prices in advance of recent sales. A good entry of store lambs met steady competition and sold at satisfactory prices. A smaller penning of beef, together with a large entry of boner cattle. These met with keen competition from export (buyers and realised values fully on a par with recent sales. A full entry of dairy heifers created keen interest, and quality animals met a ready sale, a satisfactory clearance resulting. A large entry of weaner heifers also sold readily.
