DISCUSSION AT COUNCIL
CHAIRMAN’S DIFFICULT JOB
The chairman, Mr C. C. Rae, had to resort to the use of his bell very frequently at the meeting of the Coromandel County Council last Wednesday through councillors persistently holding their own meetings round the table, particularly when anyone was speaking to the meeting. This practice is noticeable in the county meeting and has a good deal to do with little misunderstandings and loss of time by repetition through inattention to what has been said.
