ANNUAL MEETING HELD POSITION MUCH IMPROVED OFFICERS FOR ENSUING YEAR mi mu The annual meeting of parishioners of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Paeroa, was held in the Parish Hall on Monday night, 'the vicar, Canon W. G. H. Weadon, presiding over a fair attendance.
The annual report (which will be published in full in a later issue), and balance-sheet showed that the affairs of the church were in a very sound position. The overdraft, £B5 13s 3d, was reported to be the lowest since 1931.
The election of officers resulted as under: —Vicar’s warden, Mr F. Lewis; people’s warden, Mr L. C. Cane, vestry, Messrs Edwin Edwards, W. Fathers, C. Kennedy with power to add; auditor, Mr K. C. Ni'block. The meeting closed with prayer.
