FORTNIGHTLY MEETING HELD
SERVICE CALLS ON MEMBERS
Bro. P. L. Wheaton, AjD., presided over the last regular meeting of the Star of Paeroa Lodge, held in the Civic Hall.
The presence on the same evening of the three trustees of the lodge was remarked with appreciation.
It was announced that two of the executive officers will very shortly be engaged in defence duties on the industrial war ~ front and training camp respectively. . Bro. Wheaton, whose worthy ambition has brought him to the ArchDruid’s chair, was thanked for his zeal interest in lodge affairs since coming to Paeroa. His imminent departure is regretted. Sickness claims for the period were of average amount and payment was authorised .by the meeting.
