KEREPEEHI EFFORT WANES ROAD LEADING PROGRESS OF THE COMPETITION The following is a progress report of the baby competition being conducted at Kerepeehi in aid of Patriotic Funds:— Votes Wani road baby, Derry Bird 3775 Township baby, Judy Walker - 2982 Block baby, Bruce Harvey —- 1862 COMMUNITY SING AIDING TOWNSHIP BABY In aid of the township ibaby a community sing was held in the supper rooms of the Kerepeehi Hall on Thursday evening last. The accompanist was Mrs P. Innis and the song leader Mr W. Booth. Mr R. Kennedy of Ngatea, rendered two mouth-organ solos which were much appreciated. After, supper had been served dancing and competitions brought the evening to a close. The winners of the competitions were Miss Anderton and Mr P. Innis.
