LOCAL & GENERAL
Art Union Drawn Paeroa did not secure a single prize in the “One For Luck” art union which was drawn in Wellington on Friday, evening. “Cloth of Gold” Effect Buttercups are making a strong appearance on the Hauraki Plains again at present. Their “cloth of gold” effect is striking when the floware are at their fullest bloom, “Sporting Notes” on Wednesday
“ S'porting Notes,” commenting on the weekly meeting of the Paeroa Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club, will appear on Wednesday instead of to-day owing to the manuscript reaching us too late to appear in this issue.
Unusual Pet
