FUNCTION AT HIKUTAIA. Last Thursday evening a most enjoyable dance and euchre was held in the Hikutaia Hall by the Hikutaia Catholic Social Club. The hall was gaily decorated with bright streamers and nikau ferns. Splendid music was supplied by Mick Cosgrove’s orchestra. There were a number of dancers from all the surrounding districts and the excellent prizes given for euchre were keenly contested by many players. The winners were: Ladies, Miss F. Smith; men, Mr A. Alley. Extras were played by Miss R. Smith. Mr Harold Smith was M.C.
