DID YOU KNOW THAT— Rusty springs may bring about disaster? A periodic inspection of the cor will prevent trouble arising from this source. Tar can be removed from the finish of automobiles by applying a solution comprising equal parts of turpentine and wood alcohol ? Do not fail to keep the windscreen and ad lamp lenses clean. This enhancer the pleasures of motoring and diminishes chances of accidents. Chassis nipples should be wiped clean before the grease-gun is applied to them, as a smear of lubricant is sure to have been left thereon after the last application, and dirt and dust wilhadhere to this. Consequently, at the head of next column of grease forced into the gun some particles of giit are almost certain to be carried. When box-spanners have become spread at the ends so that they are not much use for gripping nuts their shape can be restored by heating them until red hot, and inserting a nut of suitable size inside the end; then, while still red hof, hammer back to the original shape, the nut acting as a pattern.
