YOUNG PEOPLE’S RALLY
GATHERING AT PATETONGA. The young people of the Patetonga interdenominational Bible Class arranged a social on Tuesday evening last, with the idea of rallying a few more to the Bible class banner. Mr Peter Dorrian. one time Methodist minister, stationed on the Hauraki Plains,‘and now of Trinity College. and who had just completed a mission week at Ngatea, was the chief figure of the evening. He was assisted by Mr Daly, present Methodist minister. The evening took a social form and was attended by about 120 people. Songs were rendered by Miss Betty Wallace, a violin solo was contributed by Miss Melba Hunter, and Mr Dorrian obliged with an elocutionary number. Games occupied the remainder of the evening, which was terminated by a sumptuous supper, supplied by the ladies. •
