COMBINED DANCE.
FOOTBALL AND HOCKEY. EVENING AT WAITAKARURU. On Wednesday evening of last week a very successful dance in aid of football and hockey was held at Waitakaruru. Buses conveyed dancers from I-ate-tonga and Thames. The success of the evening wlas evenly divided between the excellent music supplied by the Collegians’ Orchestra, the splendid condition of the floor, and the first class supperprovided. ' The only competition of the evening, for a shaving outfit, was won by Mr A. Gyde
