BASKETBALL.
THE PAEROA ASSOCIATION. ' Although the Paeroa Basketball Association has finished its inter-club competition, a practice will be held at the Domain at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow. All the teams have played nine, matches and the High School team has won the competition with 14 'championship points, having won seven games. The Arawateam was runnersup with eleven points, having had five wins and a draw, and the previous ' holders of the shield, the Areta team, came third, with.seven points for three wins and a draw. The Aoiangi ■team had two. wins.
