Mr F. G.* White, M.A., has ( been appointed head teacher of the Netherton School. Mr and Mrs Alex. McClean, of Waitakaruru, after an extended holiday in Taranaki and visits to Rotorua and Napier, returned home early in the’ week. * - Mr R. W. Evans, clerk, Ohinemuri County Council, who sprained his ankle on Wednesday of last week, is still confined to his home, and it will be some days before he will be able to get about. His foot is still very painful particularly at nights.
