SUPERSTITION.
AS FOUND IN A MOVIE STUDIO. It’s too bad when bad luck stalks a movie set., It happened the other day on Richard Arlen’s new western, “ Caught.” First, Tom Kennedy forgot his lines, and then, at the critical moment, someone backed into a tray of dishes. The third time, John Fook, a Chinese actor, coughed loudly in the middle of a tense pause. " , _ Arlen, who says he is not superstitious, got up and walked around his chair; the director crossed his fingers; and the camera-man-knocked wood. Then they took the sequence again without mishap. The jinx had vanished !
