BOXING.
SENSATION CREATED. REG. TROWERN DISQUALIFIED. A sensation has been created in boxing circles by the announcement that the Council of the New Zealand Boxing Association has decided to disqualify Reg. Trowern, Auckland welterweight boxer, for a period of six months, dating from July 1. It appears that Trowern was charged with a breach of contract, committed when he refused to keep an agreement with the Wellington Boxing Association in respect of a contest with Billy Richards.
