WEDDING.

COTTEBUHAnVARD. A very pretty, wedding was solemnised bj' the Rev. W. W. Averill at the Ngatea Church yesterday between two very popular Ngatea residents, Miss Phyllis Millington Hayward, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs W. G. Hayward, and Mr Leo Eric Cotter, eldest son of Mr and Mrs N. Cotter, of To Kowhai, Hamilton. The church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride, and Mrs Dudding presided at the organ. The bride-, who was given away by her father, was exquisitely gowned in brocaded crepe de chine, with a train lined with pale pink ninon and draped with a silver rose. She were a long tulle veil with a very effective head-dress, and carried a. pretty cream and pale pink bouquet. There were four bridesmaids, all dressed in crepe de chine with metal lace, tulle veils, and headdresses to match. Each bridesmaid was in a different colour, Miss Grace McKay wearing apricot, Miss Birkenhead mauve, Miss P. Cotter (sister of the bridegroom) saxe blue, and Miss W. Hayward (sister of the bride) rose pink. The bridegroom was attended by liis brother, Mr Norman Cotter, as best map, and Messrs. G. Buchanan, W. Williams, and B. Hayward as groomsmen.

After the ceremony over one hundred guests were entertained at a wedding breakfast in the Ngatea Hall, which liad been very prettily decorated for the occasion. Mrs Hayward, mother of the bride, received her guests in violet repp with pretty figured trimming.

Going away ,the bride- wore an ensemble costume of delphinium blue repp and figured crepe de chine dress, with hat to match, and grey fox fur.

In the evening Mr and Mrs Hayward entertained their guests at a dance in the Ngatea Hall, Mrs Hayward receiving her guests in a dress of navy blue crepe de chine.
