PLAINS PROPERTY AT HIKUTAIA. KEROSENE USED ON STRUCTURE. A deliberate attempt to destroy the Haura.ki Plains County Council’s metal landing-stage at Hikuta.ia Creek was made on Saturday night, A tin of kerosene was poured over p-.'rt of the structure and set alightA small electric motor was destroyed and other damage amounting to about £2O done before a, passing motorist extinguished the flames.
