St. John Ambulance Assn.
ANNUAL SOCIAL. The members of the above held their annual social in the Town Hall on Friday last, and the function was well patronised by the townspeople and surrounding district. Included in the programme were many novelty dances, which were greatly enjoyed by the people assembled. The following were the winners of the various dances : Novelty Dance -Miss C.ok and Mr. D. Scurr. Lucky Spot Dance Miss B. Whorskoy and Mr. J. Greenhill. Married People’s Monte Carlo Mr. Henderson and partner. Balloon Dance—Mr. W. Whittaker and partner. The members wish to thank all business people for prizes donated, and also the ladies and others who helped in making the social such a great fi lancial success.
