Huntly Road Board.

At the last meetiug of the Huntly Road Board, Messrs J. P. Bailey (chairman), L. B. Harris, Jr., W. F. Parker and R. T. Hill were present. The Clerk reported that the State Advances Office had provisionally approved of the loan of £4OO and £3OO respectively for Kimihia and Starrtown Roads and that it was hoped the money would be expended early in the new year.

Instructions for the repair of various roads were given, and it was resolved that the carrying out of the contract for gravelling a further portion of the Matahuru Gorge. It was decided to try to borrow a grader for the purpose of forming up the Groat South Road.
