OBITUARY
The death took place in the Buller Hospital on Saturday morning of Air John AFcLaughlin at the age of 55 years. He was a native of Ireland and arrived in New Zealand 14 years ago. Prior to coming to Westport, he resided in Hokitika for some time. He was a single man and there are no relatives in New Zealand.
The death took place at Palmerston North on Sunday of Air Allen AlcHorron, a member of a well known AYestport famly. Deceased, who was 56 yqears of age, was in the P. and T Department. His wife predeceased him by a - year, and there is left a son two years of age to mourn his loss. “Brock” will be well remembered as a Buller Rugby representative. He was a returned soldier. He leaves besides his son, four brothers.
