' lUS REMARKS CRITICISED. (Per Press.'Association—Copyright). WELLINGTON Dec. 4. When Mr W. ■). Poison (Opposition, Stratford) quoted in the House oi Representatives to-night the Hon. P. (: Webb’s statement that after the war capitalism would be as dead as Julius Caesar, Labour members interjected: ■‘(That is right.” Mr Poison said the Minister had nol retracted that statement. Mr Webb: i said 1 would repeat the speech m this House Mr Speaker pointed out that Juiius Caesar had no close connexion with the War Regulations. Mr Poison said it was sheer humbug for Mr Webb to bawl and yell at the House as lie had done that night, as he had done more to create class hatred than any other man in the last month. Mr Spoakeri: Order. Order. Mr Poison: The position is that t'i& Minister for Labour has, in Ms attitude in this country during the last month, aroused indignation and class hatred, and fo appeal to tin rest of us ami particularly to the Opposition, not to arouse class hatred —well, it is an appeal we might "erv well have done with o.t.
