FOOTBALL
On Saturday afternoon the White Star third grade team from West pore will play a combined Hokitika team, to be selected from the School and Kiwi teams. The match will commence at two o’clock. The White Star team will arrive from Westport on Friday evening, and leave on their return on Sunday. The match is a yearly fixture, and creates wide interest among the junior grade players. On Saturday, September 28th., the Cowan Cup seven-a-sidc tourney will take place at Ruatapu. Entries will he received from all senior clubs on Monday evening. The tourney will he conducted by a committee of the Club officials as in previous years, lvokatalii Club are the present ' holders of the trophy.
