165 ENEMY ’PLANES.
THIRTY BRITISH LOSSES.

(Received this day at 10.2 a.m.). LONDON, September 15. The Air Ministry announces that to 8 p.m., 185 enemy ’planes were shot down to-day. Thirty of our fighters were lost, but ten pilots are safe.
Dr Bove described seeing hundreds of bodies of Germans in the water near Cherbourg, and added that, the (Germans were constantly practising for the invasion. They were forced, to leap overboard from, small emit and swim considerable distances, lullv uniformed and equipped. Dr Bove declared that he was aware of the invasion attempts from his personal observation and from talking to responsible sources.
