May 11, was won by Mrs J. N. Bullard, of Whakatane. Her scone was .81-10-71, being four strokes under the scratch score of the course. The next best scores were those of Miss H. Chambers (Hastings) 85-14-71 (three under) ; and Miss M, Cock (Nelson) 85-14-71 (10 under). The Aotearoa Cup which was played for in conjunction with the same event, but is open to placers of any handicap,, was won by Miss Blake ’ (Hastings), 90-27-63 (74), or eleven strokes under the scratch score. Miss M. Hotson (Te Kuiti), .99-32-67 (74), or seven under, was second ; and Miss Scott (AVaimairi Beach), 103-34-69 (75) was third. V
