AN OPINION
ON THE WAR POSITION. (Per Press Association —Copyright). WELLINGTON, May 21. The situation on the battle front in Europe -was commented on as follows by the chief of the general staff, Major Duigiin in an interview to-day. The final decision will he reached on the Western Front and with our'Allies we have got to fight it out to a finish. Once again our backs are to the wall Determination, courage and the will to win will bring 11s through the crisis, and J feel ali these qualities are possessed by the Allied armies. I am certain victory will come in the end and that civilisation will be saved. A war victory for the enemy would mean the dismemtbership of the .Empire.
