GERMAN CLAIM. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). BERLIN, May 20. The German Official News Agency states: —German air scouts sighted a heavy cruiser off Bodo. She was stranded on a reef, and was listing heavily. Allied planes and a destroyer were guarding her. DESTROYER DAMAGED. LONDON, May 20. The Admiralty announces that the destroyer, “Whitley,” of 1,110 tons, has been damaged by bombing. The destroyer subsequently was beached. There were four casualties.
