SHOOTING MATCH
CLAY PIGEONS AT GREY. The newly formed Gun Club at Greymouth held a very successful shooting match at Victoria Park on Saturday, when some excellent shooting, under perfect weather conditions, was witnessed. Shooters were present from all parts of the district. The results are as follows: First sweepstake of five birds resulted in the following shooters, who scored the possible, dividing the stake: Father Kelly, H. Knight, G. Ibell, J. Smith, G. Hill, J. Walsh, G. Ford, J. Grey, W. C'hisnall, J. Bennington, C. Searle, G. Mirfin, A. Banuon and D. Weir. There were 30 shooters. The next event was a 15 bird match for a. stake of £lO, and drew 31 entries. The following who scored the possible, divided the, prize money: J. Smith, W. Chisnall, D. Weir, G. Hnhii, J. W. Kelly). Th e final event, a dual drive, drew 17 entrants, and the following shooters with the possible divided the prize;—J. Ford, E. Chisnall, D. Weir, G. Hill, and A. McDonnel.
