(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ).
(Received this day at 11.30 a.m.).
LONDON, December 2. There was an astonishing scene in the Court of Appeal when Frank Harrison, after the rejection of an application for a new county court trial, returned to court when the judges were departing for lunch and shouted—“l want justice,” at the same time throwing several tomatoes at Lord Justices Clausen and Goddard.
•The tomatoes missed the judges and burst against the' woodwork.
A spectator seized Harrison’s arm preventing him throwing more. The judges returned to the bench and Clausen said—“We dealt with the application to the best of our ability.” Harrison was sentenced to six weeks imprisonment for contempt of court. Harrison yelling—“ There is no justice left in England” was hustled out.
