A comprehensive survey of swimming facilities throughout the Dominion was discussed by the School Committees’ Conference to-day, and it reaffirmed that swimming should be made a compulsory subject for all physically fit children, and. the Government’s attention be drawn to the inadequate and dangerous facilities in use. It was decided to hold next year's conference in Auckland
