SCHOOL RADIOS

One ot the eldest and largest primaiy schools in Canterbury district— Sydenham—has installed a combined radio and loud-speaker apparatus*. ‘ It is in the headmaster’s office, and “the head - acts as announcer and station director. Relays of. educational broadcasts can be received in any of the rooms. Two speakers provide playtime music and chosen pupils, aie allowed to appear before,the microphone on special occasions.
