LONDON, April 25
Inaugurating the Inter-Empire five-penny-rate. cable service, the chairman of Cable and Wireless, Ltd., (Mr Edward Wilshaw) stated that the Government- approved that he should send a message to the Governors of the Colonies 7 and other Empire outposts, and 70,000 regular clients. Riss, the “uncrowned king” of the Cocos Islands, and others,' including the Fanning Island cable station, flashed back congratulations.
