NAZI PAGANISM, (United Press Association —By Electric Teleeraph--Copyright/ (A ST EL GAXDOLFO. Sept. 18. The Pope deplored the plight ol the Catholic Church in Germany during an address here* to pilgrims. The Pope’s remarks also contained an outburst against the activities of the Nazi writer. Rosenberg. He said: “This self-styled Prophet, who acts and writes against all that is Catholic and Christian, has not yet been acclaim'd in Germany.”
The. Pope exhorted the Austrian people to remain faithful to Catholicism, and to give a much-needed example, in Central Europe.
