WELLINGTON, September 17. General inference: An anticyclone lies centrally over New Zealand, while a depression is located over the western Tasman Sea. The forecast is for light to moderate northerly winds prevailing, and later freshening. Weather fair to fine and milder, but clouds increasing anct rain developing to-morrow. Seas slight to moderate.
