AN ATTEMPT FAILS. (Uuittd Press Association —By Electrn Telegraph—Copy right). (Received this day at 10.30 a.m.) CHICAGO, June 10. The police have revealed an attempt to kidnap John Rockefeller Prentice, grandson of J. 3). Rockefeller. Two men abducted young nurse friend of Prentice, and compelled her to telephone him to make a rendezvous at which it is believed an effort would have been made to seize Prentice. He informed the police, lmt the plotters escaped.
