PARALYSIS
CASE AT CHRISTCHURCH. (Per Press Association—Copyright). - - --n- ; CHRISTCHURCH, June 4. In spite of the fact that a further case of infantile paralysis was reported to the Health Department to-day, statistics show clearly that tlie epidemic is waning fast, the reduction in the number of cases being particularly satisfactory as far as South Island notifications are concerned. For the week ended May 15 last, the South Inland total was 15 cases and for the week ended on Monday last, was six. The case notified to-day was that of a woman aged twenty-five who was admitted to Christchurch Hospital from Ha,warden.
