ROUMANIAN’S ATTEMPT
TO BETTER CAPE RECORD
LONDON, May 1
Prince Constantin. Cantachuzene, aged twenty-seven, of Roumania, flying a Caudron Renault plane, with , a top speed of 237 miles an hour, and a hying radius of 3700 miles, has departed from Hatfield in an attempt to set England to Johannesburg and England to the Cape records. His plans include only two' stops, the first in the South Sahara, and the next in Central Africa. He will sleep for brief snatches, uSTng an automatic pilot.
