The death has taken place of Walter Edward Deacon Bishop, aged 66, president of the New Zealand Swimming Association since 1918, and president of the Cnterbury Centre since 1900. He was a member of the legal firm of. Bishop and Godfrey.

The death of Mrs Isabel Harley, widow of Mr T H. Harley took place yesterday at Wellington at the residence of her daughter. Deceased was a native of Nelson and 92 years of age. Tier husband predeceased her about five years ago, and she is survived hv six daughters, Mesrlames Coldicut (Auckland), J. Robinson (Foxton), F. W. Slack (Christchurch), C. Stuart (Wellington), S. «. Cattell (Looston), and Fitzpatrick, and four sons, Halstead (Auckland), ’ Arthur (Nelson), Harry (Christchurch), and Frederick (Grey mouth).
