At to-day’s wool sales, 12,617 bales were offered, and 12,220 bales were sold, also 2,075 hales were disposed of privately. In a keen market, the prices tor good to average sorts advanced by five per font on the 'closing rates of last week. Values for the very best were firm at Thursday’s rates. Comebacks and cross-breds shared in the imnrovement.

The ch ief support came from Yorksmre, France, and the United States. Greasy merino made 28’,d. The average price last week was £2O 10s per hale and 15.8 pence per lb.
