The Union Company has received adince that the Pacific Coast strike, is serious and is likely to beUa prolonged one/ As there is little likelihood of the Waiotapu being able to load at San Francisco and Los Angeles, it has been decided to bring the vessel on with only the Canadian portion of her cargo load- > ed. She was to call at Los Angeles for stores and water only, and was expected to clear there on Thursday for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia. The vessel is due at Auckland on November 30. .
