The final session of the cancer' conference resoTutioned recommending the Commonwealth Government to appoint a committee to formulate proposals for an Australian cancer commission, which would inquire into the treatment of-cancer. It also resolutioned tha-t all hospitals be asked to prepare statistics upon cancer, on a uniform basis, according to classifications to be submitted by the committee. Also that the Broadcasting Commission be requested to ; encourage medical practitioners to take part in the forthcoming campaign against the cancer scourge.
