The works in the southern district rank in that category and are important enough to take a foremost place in any Government piogrnmme. ’ The visiting Ministers therefore have .an opportunity to achieve the reality of the desire in mind —to push New Zealand ahead with useful works offering fresh openings for capital and enterprise jn a country capable of giving useful returns for the outlay.
