1 lie Department of Internal Affairs notified that Mr L. S. M. Liddicoat had been appointed opossum skin stamper at Hokitika, in succession, to Mr J. T'ridmove. It was decided to send a letter of thanks to Mr lJridmore.

T he Marine Department advised that the Salmon and Fresh-water Fisheries Commissioners of Tasmania wese seeking advice regarding expenditure in control of inland fisheries, and the Society was asked to supply certain information. The matter was referred to the secretary and Mr A. C. Armstrong.

Tiie North Canterbury Society, sought Westland’s co-operation in the destruction of the German, owl, which was responsible lor tjie decrease in the number of small birds. It was decided to reply advising the German owl was not in evidence in Westland, but if the occasion should arise, this Society would give the desired co-operation. The North Canterbury Society wrote seeking particulars regarding the issue of fishing licenses, the matter being referred to the secretary to supply the information.

The Minister of Internal Affairs wrote in connection with opossum revenue for 1934, advising it was not possible to make any additional payment to the Society. The letter was received.
