The monthly meeting of the R.S.A. Executive takes place this evening and takes the form of a quarterly general meeting, when all members are cordially invited to be present. Aliss V. One of the outstanding social events in Hokitika each year is the Hospital Ball, and in preparation for this year’s event, a meeting of all willing to assist is being held in-the Soldiers’ Hall on Tuesday afternoon. Each year the pro-, ceeds are always devoted to some worthy object in connection with the hospital; and this year th e funds will be devoted towards the purchase of necessary surgical appliances for use at the hospital.
