TRAGEDY FEARED
SHIP’S LIFEBOATS ON BEACH (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day, at 11.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, July 14. Three lifeboats lashed together, and a whaing boat, found on the beach of Fraser Island, about thirtyeight mifes south of where the Malieno lies stranded, suggests the possibilities of 4 ano{her sea tragedy during Jt-ho recent cyclone. The boats are definitely not from the Maheno, but there is nothing to indicate where they came from.
No report lias been received of any vessel overdue or in trouble.
