GREAT DAMAGE DONE (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, July 10In the flooded eastern states, the waters are now receding, but as they abate.there is revealed a large loss of life than 1 was at first estimated. The rivers leading to the Atlantic Ocean have now, reached the flood stage further south, and' are causing considerable loss of life and damage.
There are forty dead in the States of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. There are from fifty-one to flityfive dead in New York State. The damage done in the five States p-ea-cluts at least twenty-five .million dollars.
