(Received this day at 11.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, July 12Seven directors of file Doornhollc mines, including jSir Johnunes v an Boesohoten. were committed for trial on a- charge of conspiracy to defraud. All the accused are prominent public men in Johannesburg. A magisterial inquiry established the fact that a large number of shares were distributed to the directors as bonus shares. The shares had a sensational rise in 1934 from a few shillings to 335, falling later like a shot to 2s. Boeschoten (chairman) stated that he was completely ignorant of events leading to the alleged fraud of shareholders-
