OBITUARY
The death of Mrs Clara Horan, wife of Mr John Horan, of Coal Creek, took place yesterday. The deceased, who latterly had been a patient at the Hospital, was 39 years of age, and was a native of Greymouth, and a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs'James Clarke. She leaves a family of three children. She is also survived by three sisters, and five brothers.
WELLINGTON, JulylO. The death occurred on Monday morning of Mr R. Wallace, an old resident of Wellington, at the age of 87. Born in Ireland, Mr Wallace spent the greater part of his life at sea and eventually settled in Wellington. He was the father of W. J. Wallace, who is at present in Australia, as joint manager of the Maori Rugby football team.
