NEW YORK STATE FLOODS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). ' NEW YORK, July 8. Between 25 and 30 persons lost their lives in floods which have swept the central and northern parts of New York State during the past 24 hours. The property damage is estimated to exceed ten million dollars. There were sudden heavy rains. These resulted in the inundation of several small villages. Most of the casualties were duo to motorists being caught on the lowland highways.
